Full-Flake Garage Floors
Flakes broadcast to full rejection give you a rich, speckled, granite-like floor that hides dirt, tire marks and imperfections in the slab.
The details, in plain English.
In a full-flake system we throw flakes into the wet base coat until the surface is completely covered. After curing, the excess is scraped and vacuumed away, and the floor is sealed with a clear polyaspartic topcoat. Because the flakes cover the entire surface, you see the blend, not the base color, and that is why full-flake is the most popular garage floor in the country.
The multicolor pattern is wonderfully forgiving. It camouflages cracks that have been repaired, hides the slight unevenness of old concrete and keeps looking clean between washes. It also adds a little micro-texture that improves traction without feeling rough.

Questions, answered
How many flake colors can I mix?
Most blends use three to five colors. The Floor Designer shows sixteen ready-made blends, and we can mix a custom one from the flake catalog.
Do flakes make the floor rough?
No. After scraping and two clear coats the surface is smooth with a slight tooth that helps traction.
How do I get a price?
Fill in the form or call 800-207-0499. We schedule a free assessment, look at the slab and send a written quote.
How long does it take?
Most two-car garages are done in a day. Large or heavily repaired floors can take longer, and we tell you the schedule before we start.
