Cove Base & Wall Transitions
The floor curves up the wall in a clean, seamless cove. No gaps, no dirt traps, and a finished edge that looks custom.
The details, in plain English.
Where a floor meets a wall, liquids and dust find their way into cracks. A coved base carries the coating up the wall, usually a few inches, creating one continuous, wipe-clean surface. It is standard in commercial kitchens and labs and a premium touch in homes.
In garages, a cove base also protects drywall from water, salt and splashing, and it gives the room a crisp, tailored finish. We form the cove with a flexible material and coat it with the same color and clear coat as the floor.

Questions, answered
Does cove base work on any wall?
It works best on sound, clean masonry or drywall prepared for it. We check the wall first.
Is it worth it in a home garage?
For workshops and wet garages, yes. In a dry two-car garage it is optional but a nice touch.
How do I get a price?

How long does it take?
Most two-car garages are done in a day. Large or heavily repaired floors can take longer, and we tell you the schedule before we start.
