Chemical-Resistant Floor Coatings
Fuels, solvents, battery acid, coolants and cleaners can eat a basic floor. We use systems that handle them and tell you the limits.
The details, in plain English.
Not all coatings are chemical resistant, and not all chemicals are equal. Polyaspartic and urethane-based systems resist many common garage and shop fluids, and novolac-type systems can handle harsher environments. We ask what you use and recommend accordingly.
Prompt cleanup is still good practice. Even resistant coatings can stain or soften with long exposure to strong chemicals, so we also design containment details such as cove bases and sealed joints where appropriate.

Questions, answered
Will it survive gasoline and brake fluid?
Typical garage fluids are handled by proper polyaspartic systems. Wipe up spills promptly.
What about battery acid?
Battery acid is aggressive. Tell us about it so we can specify an appropriate system and containment.
